Not just American Top Team but it seems like even dudes like Usman got their start there. I hear Luke Rockhold went to the state to train for a while too. I know MMA caught steam out west in California (which is going strong with MMA) but is MMA in South Florida now like football in Texas (or in Florida since it produces so many blue chip recruits)?

California seems to be the top state when it comes to top talent, but that might just be due to the massive population.
Florida and California seem like the top 2 places though, at least in the US. Dagestan still seems the best overall{Misc Fisherman Crew}

Might be because top fighters retired there and opened schools.

South Florida has ATT, Sanford, Goat Shed, MMA Masters etc. it’s a hub for a lot of really good professionals

But if you break it down by specifics and regions, then I can say that overall sure California is better than Florida as a state but region wise, wouldn't you say that South Florida as a region or part of the country is arguably in the top 3 for the US after Nor Cal and So Cal?Originally Posted by mp83

One of the best along with Vegas & Cali indeed. Colorado lookin joocy also with Elevation & Factory X. I'd say you can't really pick a place to call "dominant" as there's so many places around the world where the goats train including NZ, Thailand, Europe, Brazil.
