    How much more room do you need to do standing? What if you loaded the bar with 25s instead of 45s?

    in for twink weight class lol, im only around 175 lbs.

    if I could get 160 for a triple i'd be very happy. i might post a video before hand then see my progress leading up to October. my recent best was 145 x 6. Was half way up but my tricep strength wasn't enough. I think I'm just gonna be working a chit ton of triceps these next 6 weeks. Could use it for a bigger bench as well. I might be even close to 160 x 3 right now but we will see. Every 5 lb increase makes it feel so much heavier.

    I don't have proof of the date that I did this, sorry. I'm not going to win, but I'm going to post up in here anyway because this is my favorite lift. I lost a lot of strength over the last couple of years because of the gym closing down, etc, but I recently hit a personal goal of mine, of 135. I got it for a double.     I missed this thread when it was made.

    I haven’t done shoulder pressing standing in a long time, but I’ll join. Once upon a time my strict press PR was 235. That was a long time ago (10 years) and I was bigger too/not in a calorie deficit.
