Body Types on online dating sites are such a joke

This is what I would have thought they would mean (Based on OKCupid):

Thin = Actually Skinny or Very skinny
Fit = Toned/Lean, obviously works out
Jacked = Far more muscle mass than normal... most likely quite lean
Average = Literally average, for a woman maybe 25% bodyfat to 28% bodyfat
A Little Extra = Slightly Chubby
Curvy = Slightly Chubby bit with favorable distribution
Full Figured = Obese or whatever is above that

What they ACTUALLY mean after looking at people's pictures...

Thin = Normal/Average, or maybe a little thinner than average
Fit = Normal/Average, or maybe slightly more fit than normal
Jacked = Anything fitter than average
Average = Slightly overweight or overweight
A Little Extra = Significantly overweight, or obese
Curvy = Significantly overweight or even obese, but sometimes with a huge arse and/or boobs
Full Figured = Obese and everything beyond




Basically, females use anything larger than 'Average' as a catch-all or obesity...

I've seen literally obese (like BMI 35+) identify as "curvy"... they have no noticeable 'curve'.

If we're talking about America, average IS overweight. I would guess the average female would be over 35% body fat.
