Short and to the point with my goal...
I've been training for (5) years straight. I've went from 135 to 190 over the (5) years.
I'm currently trying to put on 15 lbs, get to the 205 range, than switch to a cut and a SHRT style of training.
Does 6,000 Calories seem like enough to pick up 15 lbs or should I increase my daily intake to 7k-7,500?
Bear in mind, this is a serious post, please don't respond with "you can't be serious." As I'm looking for constructive advice. I burn 2x as many calories as the average male.
I train (2x) per day and I climb trees and carry logs and tree stumps across properties and up-hill from sun-up until dark.
I'm currently gaining slowly, and I think it's my physical activity and work that is causing it.
How many calories are you guys using to bulk who do physical labor all day on top of training?

Why are you trying to specifically get to 215?
It seems like you're setting arbitrary goals and choosing random numbers. I don't see why you'd go with 6000 calories OR 7000+.... that difference is so huge you'd need to walk an additional 10 miles+ per day to even burn it off or get close to it..."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

I don't have an answer. But I spun my wheels for 2 years eating dorm food in college and made no gains. I moved out and ate like some of my associates that were on special vitamins. Went from 136 pound to 166 pounds. Some of those associates are now dead from the vitamins.

I grew up a skinny kid, with two small parents (135 lbs each soaking wet) and I was the same way. I got tired of being the skinny kid and decided to do something about it. My first years went great, but lately I haven't had much encouragement. Your numbers are pretty much spot on with mine I guess, it took me a month to get from 190 to 192, eating 6k calories a day.
I've been beginning to think it is the season or the weather. As mentioned, I carry hundreds of tree trunks all day, some in excess of several hundred pounds. It's been a hot dry summer, 110 degrees plus temperatures, and I come home with my pants, boxers, socks, and clothes soaked like I jumped into a swimming pool, I worry I'm sweating gains out sometimes.
After a few years of training, I think my gains may just be tapering off or starting to slow down. I'm going to try switching up my routine and see if that helps.
I've been on an Arnold Split for too long, I'm going to switch over to a PPL split and see if a change-up helps shock the muscles in a different way.

Well the reason I’m asking has nothing to do with genetics in that sense, moreso around whatever your muscular ceiling is…
For example if you’re like 5-10” weighing 190 at 12% bodyfat, then bulking to 215 isn’t necessarily going to do anything but add mostly water and fat… and then when u cut back down, you’ll just be back where you started.
Usually doing a 20+lb bulk is for people who are much closer to being newbies"When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"
