    Starting fresh, any protein suggestions

    Hi, im starting fresh again going to the gym and i need a new protein powder and supplements, i was hoping i can get some options and suggestions on which to start off with. i just wanna lose weight right now and when i do then i wanna do other workouts to get ripped later on the year or after.

    I would agree with the above that PES Select would be a great option for taste and quality.

    I've been using Myogenix Myo-Ice Chocolate Mint flavor and it actually has tasted pretty good. It also is one protein powder i've seen that doesn't have sucralose and actually tastes good.

    Do i also need any of the pre and post workout proteins too? before i only took like whey proteins before and after the workout and im not sure if i did it right but this time i want to do it right and go all the way and not stop and specially not be lazy to go to the gym

    Not in my opinion no.

    Some are marketed as being quick or slow digesting but all the evidence I've seen is that doesn't really make any difference, what matters is total protein per day - and to a lesser extent, spreading that out into maybe 4 or 5 distinct feedings. Proximity to the workout seems irrelevant if you do this.
