I work as an engineer for a company, and I see the non engineers ( the majority of whom are fat foids) just sit around , talk, and use their phones all day. Most of these lazy, fat femoids are accountants , hr etc.
Are non engineer /it office jobs really easy, generally speaking? Thoughts?

I do a lot of IT/supply chain/logistics/demand planning stuff, SAP sales, order management, distribution, Power BI, etc. oil and energy.
Pretty chill most of the time, like physically most office jobs sitting a desk looking at Excel spreadsheets and Outlook emails all day. Dealing with customers/clients can be annoying, though. Lots of middle management to deal with. You need good communication skills/soft skills in engineering, especially teamwork on projects, but it's like 10x more required in other roles, especially sales. The intelligence required for a lot office jobs is definitely average compared to engineering/physics/chemistry/etc. You can train any college grad to do most of these jobs unless you need a cert like accounting/CPA.Last edited by deft0nes; 08-10-2022 at 04:24 PM.

Every well-paid engineer I know pretty much quit engineering and got into sales or management.
I work as a finance manager, and believe me, I'm the most useless muthaf/cker in the whole company and yet I constantly get praised by the directors and VPs....
My subordinates do 95% of the work, the only time I have to put in effort is in answering emails and filling out month-end, quarterly and annual reports.
Not even kidding, the more useless you are the more you get paid... we live in a truly backwards, upside-down world....Everything I post is satire.

well for one, if you make a mistake cause you got sucked in by some sales guy's pitch or you missed a supplier's qualifications (which they love to be vague or downright shady about) it's on you. You can shut a line down by not having a part in on time cause you screwed up. Often times that can mean guys not getting paid cause of you.

I think non-engineering office jobs are just ****ing around the entire day and barely doing work, hell I do level-3 IT work (I work from home) and when it's busy I'm busting my ass and when it's not busy I'm watching YouTube or browsing the web srs

What do you mean, engineering jobs are easy AF. Sure the school is more difficult but the actual work is cake.
I’d argue an architect or maybe a civil engineer could be tough.~The BRAVE Kreme De La Kareem of the Fraiche Klan, founder of the 3.50th Elite Division, called the Ph@ggot Freedom Fighters~

Basically just hell. Backstabbing. Bullchit. Paper compliance. Zero teamwork. Competition where there doesn’t have to be.
I’m an assistant regional director at Walgreen’s and we deal with this all the time. I make about $46,000 a year so I would LIKE to be respected but sometimes you can’t get what you want.
I’m literally gonna be thinking about this and probably dreaming about it now that you posted it so thanks so much.
My area manager is in tomorrow so this was a good way for me to have bad dreams tonight.
EDIT: I have to get off the Misc and try to get some sleep to prepare for tomorrow. I could get fired.

Accounting and finance jobs are pretty much data entry. Most officecel jobs are easy.
Engineering is easy, but not as easy. Not swaying that Engineering is much harder.
School is always a pain in the ass, but the real job is easier, unless you are a dicrctor or some chit. I talked to one accountant who is getting his ass busted over the CPA, but he told me that all he does is put in cash receipts and data entry work in real life.AGE-25

Pretty fcking easy as you progress through the roles.
I'm a sales manager and my job is basically making sure everyone is hitting targets, do the occasional sales work myself but mainly delegate work to others, help when needed and then run sales and profit reports at the end of each month. Was a grind to get here though.

Data entry bruh? I guess I'll just magically come up with next years budget and enter it...I don't work in taxes so can't speak on that, but I'm a finance manager in public safety. Although there are data entry aspects of the job I do, most of it involves projections, analysis, market research, trends, etc. You don't just "data enter" that.
