That would be great if it ends up being that case...I'm not hoping for the country to continue going to shyt under Biden just to have a "gotcha " moment, but...let's be honest here, and not engage in COPE.

Literally nobody is buying the OP's narrative besides the diehard blue checkmark democrats who will always support their party no matter what.
Can't convince people that things are cheaper than they are, and that they got more money than they do.
Buying power is something that people have to live with every day, that has a huge impact on their quality of life.
Only people trying to politicize the economy right now are democrats in a vain attempt to defend their precious leaders.

Some of the same people flat out hoping for the economy to fail under Drumpf (like Bill Maher who flat out said it multiple times) for a "gotcha" moment. Now simply calling out BS and wanting to be honest about things is somehow the equivalent to that, in a lot of their minds.
I mean...if you want to talk "cultists", then look no further.

Chicken breast still 60% higher than it was last year. Still ticking up. Reliably cheap pork (pork butt, picnic roast, etc) has also skyrocketed almost 50% in the past 2 months. Eggs are absolutely insane right now, 3x the price from last year. Milk has nearly doubled.
Fuk your inflation numbers. They are a lie. We're all paying more for gas than 2 months ago-wowie I'm only paying $3.50 instead of $4.50 now when 18 months ago it was $2.50. Let's all pat Joe on the back for drawing down strategic reserves. First shut down Keystone XL, then fuk with exploration, then draw down the reserves. We're in the perfect position for a major oil disruption....
We're all paying out the ass for food. We're all paying out the ass for everything that everyone requires to make it by. Basically anybody between the working poor and middle class is getting ass raped still. These costs might be a superfluous note on some San Francisco liberal or DC hack, but they're not to me. Fuk right off.Virtue is its own reward.

Most of these prices are Walmart prices, so no weird promotions or gimmicks muddying the waters. I wish I took more pics of all the "before times" prices when I moved to Nebraska. The price of eggs and milk was too unreal not to so I do have those pics somewhere (milk $1.34 a gallon, eggs $2.42 for 60). Now milk is $2.49 and eggs are still over $8 for that 60 pack. Chicken breast that was reliably $1.99 is $3.24 right now.
Also I do recall you mentioning you don't pay much attention to prices in the past. I do. I'm a hawk and nail this stuff.Last edited by Johnez; 08-11-2022 at 05:06 AM.

That's the thing, it's not 0% month over month. The brandon admin lied and made you retards look like idiots again when you bought it. Inflation increased 8.5% from the previous month. The RATE of increase 0% but to get to 0% inflation we'd have to have deflation for at least 6 months and there's no way that is going to happen.

To be fair, im pretty sure it was 8.5% YoY compared to last July, and that it didnt "increase" from last month.
Using gas prices as an example, a year ago it was $2 lower per gallon than it was currently. However, it didnt increase from last month so it's still $4.5. But hey, at least it didnt go up yet again. However, it's still high af.
It's "progress" now that the inflation curve is peaking.MFC

Liberals cherry pick short time frames that meet their agenda. They look at one month instead of seeing the bigger picture. They do the same for assessing the welfare state, jobs, growth…it’s deception.
For the welfare state they only use 5-10 years, when 20 years shows dramatic negative affects. One party system; Most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Hayek and Mises were right; they're all socialists.

According to Biden's statement yesterday, inflation is at zero percent. Of Course that is a lie, but many in the corporate Democrat media didn't take on Biden's zero inflation statement lie.

Inflation is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I spent over $100 to fuel my truck yesterday. Two years ago that would have been $60
I purchased TWO bags of groceries in the same trip and it was over $120. Those groceries were meant to hold me over until I do my weekly shopping. My entire weekly shopping bill two years ago used to cost $200. The same shopping trip regularly cost me $350-400 now.
Its really great to see inflation is gone. Thumbs up to this administration!
I guess I better get back on a spending spree since things are back to normal. Now if I can just find all of that money Im supposed to have since inflation is gone it would be a miracle.
