Ya think that’s how it is?
Nope, try gripping a rock and lifting it like a barbell. The physics are totally different. Did you see him curling the rock with one hand? His hand is in open position, this targets the tendons in ways a barbell won’t, hence tendon strength is the key to longevity.
I know a dozen or more people that range from age 55-80 who have gottten great results from rocks, they just don’t post videos but some are on FB.

Regardless Tommy, the point of the vid was it was awesome to see someone training and getting the results without traditional equipment.
It wasn’t to be as you put it extreme, but damn he looks fuking stronger than a pumper for sure.
I saw the biggest 58 year too Guy was amazing probially not pretty enough for you, but he didn’t lift rocks he does super high rep chins plus power lifts, kettlebells and he loves running, but he is still a numbers type guy and focuses on strength by beating his reps. He had abs and his lats were extremely dense, that was from all the damn chin-ups, now I want to go find a tree (I don’t have a chin bar).

No, the response was to the silly responses I got about being extreme and age.
Fuking silliness.
Here’s something else these guys can try, take a 25# plate and curl it. This one isn’t really a bicep workout, if you have weak wrists that get injuries which many “pumpers” do because they neglect strength training, this will turn a weak wrist into a wrist of steel.
But who cares about that, it’s all about looking extreme, lol.

Everyone has a friend and a cousin’s cousin that is Superman.
I know a guy around your age now (pushing 60), he weighs only 175#, he’s not shredded but he has a “look” a look I find very impressive you can tell the guy is really strong. Hard to explain no fat but he’s not Rocky 4, but really hard dense muscle.
What I like about his training is it fun and exciting, it’s not boring azz machine work or ridiculous amounts of BW stuff.
Hes the only 175# person I’ve ever seen lift a 365# atlas stone into a rock bottom squat and do front squat with it plus do other feats while keeping the stone in his lap in a full front squat. Without any tacky.
Plus he works out with a 350 engine block in very odd ways.
