    Question Creatine throught the day

    does it matter if i take 2.5g of creatine in the morning and 2.5g of creatine preworkout later (2.5g of creatine is in my preworkout). Would it take the same affect as taking the full 5g in the morning or whenever.

    Yea it doesn’t really matter but if you’re going to the trouble of having 2.5g in the morning, I’d just have 5g in one go and have done with it.

    Creatine works by saturation, so when you take it is not important, 5g once per day at any time is all you need to do.

    Out of curiosity, has anyone regularly taken less than the standard 5g dose for an extended period of time (let's say 2.5g daily) & seen similar effects? I assume depending on bodyweight, meat in diet, etc. not everyone really needs the same amount.

    I take 3g, or 1 tsp, in the morning.

    The 5g recommendation is mostly to make you go through product faster so you have to keep buying. Generally 2.5-10g is fine, as you get creatine in food as well. You will probably get to a point of diminishing returns by taking more (same as protein)

    You also don’t have to “load” it either, just take 3-5g and you’ll be fine. As someone said as long as you take it daily you will be fine. You could skip a few days and be fine too.

    I mostly use it because it improves hydration and has cognitive benefits, both of which come in handy cause I move heavy **** outside all year.

    Just take your daily 5 gr. before workout everyday and you will be fine.
