Sharp pain above hip after starting creatine?

I am new to lifting, and new to creatine. I started a loading phase yesterday of creatine mono and very soon after I started feeling a stabbing pain above my right hip. I have heard that slight abdominal pain may occur when starting creatine but this seems like a bit much. I took 3 scoops yesterday, around 15 grams, and have taken 2 scoops today. This pain shouldn't be caused by creatine but I just wanted to be sure. Should I stop taking creatine and see if the pain subsides? Thanks.

You don't need to load creatine, it's a waste, just take 5g per day.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Stay hydrated and 3-5g daily is enough.

Like others have said above, 5g creatine is sufficient daily and consistently. I typically will either throw a scoop in my post workout shake or morning coffee.
