I had a mean streak with rum in college.
On many occasions it truly took control and I lost all ability to reason or make my own rational choices. Just ask the ladies. All of them.

What beverage do you find subjugating?

I ask myself what King Arthur would do. In every scenario I run I end up being Lancelot.

Can't beat the classic Jack Daniels, cut way back though, hangovers really suck when you get old.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Hell Yea!! JD Crew
I also HIGHLY recommend "Elijah Craig" either neat or on the rocks if you're a fan of JD and wanna go extra hard (especially Barrel Proof). I also love Gentleman's Jack.
Also, I hear ya on the hangovers. I've gotten progressively worse hangovers every year since I turned 25. I mean, I still drink at least once per week on average, but I'll get a hangover with just 2-4 drinks...& I'm not a "one drink" guy.

I think coffee is the most subjugating of all beverages. It is thought that the coffee bean plant uses caffeine to addict its host in order to spread and tend to it’s offspring. If you look at all of the new coffee shops and roasting facilities popping up around the globe you could say that it’s evil plan is working.

In college, it was tequila. Now, nothing.
Usually, it was subjugating when I drank 2 or 3 different types of drink in the same night or not eating enough before that.
55-60% alcohol horinca {some traditional plum/pear hard liquor} was also subjugating.I like to learn from the mistakes of the people who take my advice.

Plum/pear liquor? That reminds me of a time in Frankfurt Germany during an äpfelwein (apple wine popular in Frankfurt) festival. We tried to get into a speak easy but they wouldn’t let us in because some of us were wearing shorts. We ended up on a boat and in another city. I had to call in sick the next day.

My various tenants over the years have started a bottle collection in the foyer of my biggest house. None of the groups of people know each other. They just rent the place for a few weeks and move to another job. They add bottles to the collection. I leave the bottles where they left them.
