I once bought some steaks, don't remember the type, but they were very inexpensive. I cooked them. They had quite a bit of gristle in them. I chewed a piece as much as I could and swallowed it. It got stuck in my throat. I had to give myself the Heimlich maneuver to eject the obstruction in my throat. My wife was watching this whole incident and asked me what I was doing. I told her that I'm going to throw away the rest of the steak before it kills me.

Back in the 80s and 90s , the Marine Corps issued sea rats in cans and kits. One meal kit contained for dessert a can with stamp that read “Fruit nut roll”. But if you ever ate one you called them bu their real name which every Marine knew them by, that was “choke rolls”. If you are able to complete the cinnamon challenge, then i would give you a 50/50 chance of eating a choke roll. If you don’t have water with you though they are basically a death sentence.
The kits were like this, nice and light packing. When marines were men and if you had a week of food on an expedition your backpack weighed 150 pounds:

Baked chicken, before I learned to cook properly it always came out so dry I needed to take a sip with each bite just to keep it from forming a throat clogging meat mass (giggity).
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
