An 8-10 ounce ribeye steak with medium marbling. Add seasoning and bring to room temperature. Put a plate in your toaster oven and set it to "warm". Add butter to a cast iron skillet and bring it up to 350 degrees. Use a non-contact thermometer to check the temp. Cook 2.5 minutes on one side, flip it, cook 1 minute, turn off the heat, let it cook 1 more minute. Plate it. Let it rest long enough to drink a beer (3 minutes).

I like omelettes with cheese but they must be prepared a certain way:
Heat up a well seasoned cast iron skillet on medium-high heat on a gas rangetop.
Add 1 tbsp cold-pressed coconut oil
Crack one jumbo AA egg in a small bowl and beat, add a dash of salt and a dash of pepper and stir well.
Pour evenly onto hot oil.
Cook until the top is firm enough to hold while flipped.
Flip, the egg over and add 4 oz of shredded cheese.
Fold the egg over onto the cheese, ensuring the bottom end overlaps the top edge by 1/2”.
Cook for 2 minutes, flip.
Cook an additional 3 minutes, ensuring the cheese squeeezes out of the overlap and gets slightly burned.
This creates the perfect cheese to egg ratio.
Make as many as needed to fit your macros and hunger levels.
