Reviews for the new Z dropped on the 16th

What does everyone think? I personally like the looks, but I can understand why some wouldn't, interior looks much nicer than the old 370z.
Twin Turbo 3.0L 400 HP/350 TQ
Offered with a 6 speed manual or 9 speed Auto.

If they come out with a Nismo edition and the 6 speed can handle 600 TQ I think I'll snag one.

No RWD car should have an open diff these days IMO.

Not a fan of the looks and I wanted to like it since back in the day I had a 300ZX but felt that looks wise they fell off hard with the 350Z but improved a bit with the 370.

The motor does have potential if it's the same thing as Q50 RS

I like the fact that if you want a slower 3 pedal car you still have that choice.

I really like the look, I'm sure performance will be good enough for a pleb like myself.

But given the price for higher end models and the fact that the base doesn't get lsd, I could save myself some money and get a brz/86 and add some mods and have probably an equally as fun manual car to drive even if it's not a twin turbo v6.


But I currently drive a 150hp impreza wagon so what the fugg do I know

They know what theyre doing, they know thats a must have so you option up and spend more.

I could have sworn thatdudeinblue's review stated the base had a mechanical LSD and the upper models have an Electronic. Could definitely be mis-remembering though.

I’d drive it and am pumped that they stuck with a manual option.
Can’t afford to drop that kinda coin on a fun car rn though but I’m pumped for the brahs who can.

Hmm an e-diff would be interesting, my M has one and you wouldn't believe what some basic coding did to make it feel like a completely different car being planted at WOT and turning in.

I follow him but haven't watched the vid because literally "the looks" don't do it for me, I hate to be a ricer but maybe some aftermarket aero could make it look good. After all I had a Wings West kit on my Z32 lol, don't hate me I was a kid still

What kind of "performance/sports car" won't let you do a burnout? Credibility all but dead.

It was already losing traction without burning out.

It needed better tires to hang with a mustang mach 1 and supra.

The Z is more affordable than both

You could probably easily delete that with an ecu tune.
