    Time off the gym

    Hello, I am going on holiday in December, there will be no gym, I am worried about loosing my gains, my diet will suffer also, whats the best thing to do.

    You don't lose anything in a week or two other than a little motor pathway learning (technique) which quickly comes back when you start training again.

    Enjoy your time off, come back with renewed enthusiasm for training. Many people do this anyway and call it a 'deload'.

    Dont worry about it enjoy holidays

    Even very serious lifters dont lift on holidays sometimes
