Hello all, i want to ask a couple of questions regarding ckd and carb cycling. Im currently 80kg 180cm around 10-12% bf. I work Out 5-6 per week and i also do 3-5 carbio. Fasted in the morning or after weights. Im currently at 2000 calories. I used a keto diet for 2 months. Pretty impressive results but i want to change it. My question is should i go ckd(6 days with 35-40protein 55-60 fats 5 carbs and on my rest day (sunday switch fats to carbs? And if yes i go 35-40prot 55-60 carbs 5-10 fats?) can this work, especially since it ill be on my rest day, meaning no workout or work or any activity.?
Also was thinking in starting carb cycling what split would you suggest for a more agressive form? (also 2000 calories) 3-4 low carbdays with 10-155carb 35-40 prot 45-50 fat and 1 35-40prot 45-50 carb 15-20 fats?
Thank you in advance

I investigated this and other forms of carb manipulation a while ago and concluded that there is no benefit to messing with carb levels day to day. There is no objectively measured evidence of this working better than a straight calorie restricted diet with the same (averaged out) macros. There is no mechanistic reason why this should be superior given that your glycogen levels have quite a lot of inertia and don't easily change just from a day or two of low / high carbs.
In short: don't overcomplicate dieting, it's about net calorie balance and that's basically it.
