My point was about how infectious (or if contact spread: contagious) it is. This relatively newly released bit of information makes it sound not as infectious or contagious as it first sounded.

I guess…Country is definitely heading down a bad path. If only there was one party in charge of the White House, congress and senate to fix these problems instead of the lack of action, and creating bigger problems out of small ones.

Without 60 votes in the Senate, not much is going to get done. Gridlock used to be a feature, and not a bug, of our government that our politicians worked with. A high standard set means that compromise was necessary to to pass legislation, so neither side is completely happy with what they get but each has something.

Now compromise is dead. We are stuck in a cycle of each party gaining power short-term and ramming through the few things they can through reconciliation or executive order before the pendulum swings back.
