We also had double liposuctioners, born about 7.5 lbs each. That's 15 lbs of baby. My wife did keep up, but it was intense. Pretty much off-limits for daddy for awhile.

Our son was not a twin but ate as much as two babies and he wouldn't have anything except mama for about a year and a half. When he did start, he couldn't really handle cow's milk so we got goat's milk. Didn't stunt his growth:
