To the people saying he 'forfeited his rights' you're very wrong. Defense is a very different scenario than revenge. It just depends what their side of the story is, I haven't seen much, but I've read some things that basically make it sound like a beat down. Don't get me wrong, they're fuking heroes, but they will probably be found guilty if what I'm reading here is true. Private security almost always uses these as opportunities to beat the shyt out of someone, I've seen it 100 times. They go overboard pretty much every time. Glad the twink got it though, maybe that will be a lesson.

It's not everyday I agree with Sal29 but he's right here. If Chappel himself stomped him out, it's legal Self Defense, but for several security guards to go full Ghetto Boyz beatdown mode on him it's different.
