Abortion on the state ballot - banned after 12 weeks. How do you vote as a conservative?

I think liberals would be surprised to hear that RESTRICTED abortions are widely popular. UNRESTRICTED abortions are NOT.

The time limit needs to be after tests can be done to determine severe birth defects and down's. I think that's week 14 or 15, so I can't sign on to these 6 week (Oklahoma) or 12 week ideas.

12 weeks is a bit sooner than I might allow, I personally think 20-22 weeks is the right cut off (brain activity). 12 is a lot better than anything in the 2cnd trimester, though, much less many liberals sick ideas being okay with it in the 3rd. Abortion is different than drugs regardless, there is another person with rights who is involved, the child. IMO, once it's "alive" (and I do not know when, whether conception or the second it's born, although as I said, I draw the line around 20-22 weeks), but once alive, that right to life trumps the mother's right to not be pregnant. Carry it and put it up for adoption.

You're joking, but if we go that route, I'd rather just sterilize them so no child is conceived that must then be aborted/killed.
