You need a chin up bar and some parallettes for dips and of course, kettlebells.

I agree, but my ceiling is way too low for pullups, I know I can do them on my knees just don't know if I would use it a lot or would I just be wasting money. Definitely going to get the attachment for dips. Still not sold on the kettle bells but definitely thinking about them.

Bending your legs is okay and if you want to turn pull/chin ups into a killer exercise, just do knee raises as you're pulling up.

Nah I would have to have explained to you about the height of the ceiling, where the attachment would go, how I would have to perform the movement. Video to me is way easier

You don't need the pull up attachment. The way you did the pull ups is fine. Just add the knee raises.

I like the pull up bars because they have the different angles./multi grips if I use the Olympic bar I can only do pulls ups and chin ups. But again, not trying to build a whole gym so I might just do it like the video from time to time just to get in some pull ups. Good conversation and ideas, thanks.

I'm fcking loving it right now man, I had one workout there (and although there was no music yet, I have music now) it was fcking awesome! My wife is really happy that I am happy. One of the reasons I love this woman she supports me 100% in whatever I do.

I do not know, dude. For me, it's a waste of space. You could have had a rebounder or treadmill and a roman chair and parallettes, rather than a sofa.
You could have just had mats for floor exercises. One day, you'll appreciate the mobility and flexibility you lost. Sorry to be a negative Nancy, but I know your future.

My daughter was living in the basement with her husband and daughter so I installed the kitchen, there is also a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The bathroom was guttered and redone and it is bigger now.

Here is what the basement looked like before I had it redone. I never took pictures of the bathroom though

TV mounted, basement is 100% complete, I added pics of the bathroom which has a walk in shower so I can shower after working out, and the door entrance just so you guys can see where it is located. Now I only need to add paintings, thinking about Arnold, Bruce Lee, Scarface and some Yankees stuff.

I was a carpenter for several years.

Problem 1) how to please the wife.
Problem 2) break out your wallet, prepare to sacrifice one of your phalanges when the wallet runs dry. (the same applies to kitchens)

That finished project looks damn fine.
