I haven't tried those ones yet brah, but both pique my curiosity (sedley and greenley as well for the summer)
not sure brah, let me know if you find anything good. Foreverlux usually has the same thing for cheaper even with the sephora 20% off code so be sure to check there too
bought a 100ml of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre for my gf and a 100mL of Versace Eros Pour Femme EDT for my mom (srs) for Christmas

Herod is too smoky and I don’t care for most tobacco fragrances. And the vanilla isn’t like the creamy vanilla in Layton that makes that one shine. It’s just an odd fragrance that’s a little busy.

Today I learned Herod is smoky.
Meanwhile I wear it sometimes in the daytime here in the Caribbean. Buncha limp nosed fragcels ITT.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

It's actually a gourmand, smells like burnt caramel. Kind of like roasting s'mores over a campfire, only with caramel instead of chocolate. It's also a cardamom bomb, like La Nuit De L'Homme.

Agreed, I never noticed any smoke in Herod, either. Not everyone's nose works the same way, I suppose.

Kilian's fragrances tend to have a maturing time.
It's like Pure Tonka at first, only intensely linear and natural. Once it starts to mature, the tonka blends down some.
Creed Viking yesterday.
Today I'm not feeling it... ... [Red Bar Crew] ... ..

SOTM: Profumum Roma - Patchouly
4 sprays for the bitter cold air. Not a bad patch scent but I think Jovoy is pretty much the best out there for that note.

SOTD: Spicebomb Extreme
Got a 10ml of Herod on the way, as well as 30mL of Sedley (srs). I like having a travel bottle of fresh fragrances for when I travel to warm/tropical areas so hoping i like the Sedley and it can be my warm weather freshie for traveling (plus maybe a 125mL for at home if I like it enough, will update once I get it, as well as thoughts on Herod)
Interesting brah, will calculate the $/ml and see if I want to buy one of these sets vs. buying decants from the ******** groups. Haven't tried any Kilians yet
Haven't tried Haltane or Carlisle yet either. I do like Pegasus although I struggle with where/when to wear it. I think I like Layton more for most fall/winter scenarios, thinking Pegasus might be a good spring/summer daytime scent when meeting up with friends at a coffee shop or restaurant or something, but not forward/aggressive enough for going out at night? Not sure brahs, curious to hear opinions on when Pegasus works best. I have a 125mL of it now (srs) really impressed with the longevity and overall quality of it honestly. It remains a slight fresh/clean/soapy vibe while having a strong, sweet, powdery gourmand base. The sillage is amazing IMO, and the metallic note (from the heliotrope) is very interesting the way it somewhat lingersLast edited by SouthDakotaBrah; 12-05-2022 at 07:24 AM.

SOTD: AF Drooling in Love
This is full on powdery musky sweet vanilla with some floral notes. Absolutely feminine leaning. My wife was still sleeping when I left this morning …so I am hoping she doesn’t think I was with a woman instead of working. I sure smell like one.
I don’t get how no one even gets a hint of smoke in Herod. I mean ****, it’s even listed as a smoky vanilla type scent on the PDM website.Last edited by OT2000; 12-05-2022 at 10:11 AM.
