Japan is awesome. I really want to go back and explore more of the country and cities. I was only there for a transit between flights, but the food I had whilst there and my experience of the culture was incredible (treated like God by the female staff in the airport lounge).

My god, the toilets. The bidets are just heaven. I could have sat on a toilet there all day.

A mote too much and it overtakes the scent, drowns out the other notes, and makes the smell too old fashioned and one dimensional. Can also make it a very business attire-only scent IMO, like Aramis and old classics.

I'd be very surprised if Armani failed to pull off a banger, though.

I dont think ive tried cuir noir, but Armani did a great job with leather in Cuir Majeste

Someone recommended this in here and I picked up a couple samples while the site was down. I like it, but only barely. Smells like a Sauvage + Aventus mixture, but dries down mostly woody. Performance is only average.

On a side note, I picked up some scented oil wallflowers from Bath & Body Works and the birch and bergamot scent smells very much like Aventus, for those of you who like that style.

I was there only for a week with work constraints. But it was an awesome week . Basically did a bullet train from tokyo almost all the way to Hiroshima. On the way we hitup , hakone , osaka - if any of you brahs are watching shogun I did a tour through osaka castle , ill have to post some pics super dope. kyoto and back to toyko with a day trip to mount fuji , temples , onsens - i had to go to one that allowed tattoos because they are associated with the yakuza and frowned upon. It was super clean compared to like philly , new york lol. Culture on my first visit is wayyyyy different. Returning to US timezone wrecked me for a good 2 weeks

As bodhy brah said below the bidets are game changers, looking to get 2 installed srs. Being from the northeast those heated seats are game changers hnnnnnnnng.
I also got treated well , can easily slay if not for the language barrier. THe food for me was more dangerous as i have seafood allergy and everything had damn shellfish.

Penhaligon Halfeti Cedar.

Great longevity and sillage. Very nice scent smell with good evolution too, made me think of some Caribbean locale since it starts with a heavy rum note and I associate rum with Caribbean pirates. Then floral notes and tonka bean and vanilla in the finish, two of my fav notes.

Hefty price tag @ $460 but I might end up buying a bottle, it is very nice stuff.

Sigh. I walked right into that one.

But yeah I guess I'm around people so often that after a day is done it's already dark and I just like to go home and be alone. Thankfully my girl knows this and she's on the same page so she's cool with hanging once maybe twice per week and most of the time it's just chilling home with me playing games or watching movies.

Will probably take some time off and take her somewhere cool if it lasts though. I find it difficult these days to meet an attractive girl who isn't obsessed with going out on dates/going out with friends all the time. Or complaining that I work too much lol.

Also lol @ Alexandria Fragrances, I haven't bought from them in years. Would like to re-up on my Hawaii Volcano and Panther but every time I go on their site and see their ugly ass new bottles I just close tab.
