AIR FRYER bros: Recommend an Air Fryer

I'm thinking of getting this Ninja 8 qt one. It's got 4 qts on each side that you can cook two different things simultaneously.

go to walmart and buy the LARGEST VOLUME one they have.

You will only have regret if you buy a smaller one. I leave mine on the back porch because it takes too much room in kitchen.

it's a small convection oven basically, there's a fan above the cooking chamber that circulates the air

nothing special going on, it just heats up faster and circulates better because there's no empty space being wasted

air "fryer" is a bit of a bs marketing term imo but they're a good tool for certain things and the speed

air fryer is right between an oven and a grill as far as how chicken turns out.

You have to get an instant read thermo for you chicken guys. Cook to 165 and no more! It will make a huge difference b/c 95% of people overcook chicken.

My only concern is the 4qt compartment isn't going to be big enough for some things.

The single compartments come in 6+ qts.

It's just me and +1 if I cook for a sloot, maybe this will work? I don't meal prep or anything.

Nah, I've read chicken should be cooked to 155 several times in the sous vide group. I might get one of those too.

Does the food come out better though? Like you can do air frying wings in the oven too.

I have a cosori 5.5L and it works super well but i do wish i had something a bit bigger. if i wanna do a pizza i have to make it smell or it won't even fit. if you got the space for it get something a lil bit than 5.5 imo.
