College football will be dead in 5 years. I'm glad the kids are getting compensated but getting a million dollars before ever playing a game while 4 year starters get $5k a year makes me not even want to watch anymore. The NCAA did this to themselves by refusing to budge on the matter and having it go to the supreme court. I like what Bama is trying to do by setting up a fund that pays all the players equally but they'll lose out to the Texas A&Ms of the world who will throw millions at croots. It's over for CFB

Disagree, if anything i think that this brings the much requested "parity" in college football everyone has been crying about the last decade.
Everyone is looking at TAM for their oil money buuuuuut what about USC, UCLA, Oregon (Nike), Miami? It's not the same level money but now that money can be used openly to recruit, you can now use that AND the hype of living in socal/miami vs having to go hang out in collard green and pig feet eating "South".
If i'm a hotshot all american high school player do I go to fuking nowhere Alabama to play for $25,000 a year, or do I go to USC for $100,000 while living in beautiful so-cal and can have access to more social media monetizing opportunities for my tiktok/ig whatever (as an 18 year old)DCA'ing FXS since Sept2022

How exactly does it bring parity? The schools you listed as examples( USC, UCLA, and Oregon) have never had trouble recruiting. The same schools will land the top 25 recruiting classes every year, it’s just that the players will get a sh!t ton of money and it will be harder for smaller schools to compete. It’s not too bad now, but look at what has happened to college football head coaching salaries over the past 25 years. There are already players in college making more than some NFL players. Where do you think that will be in 25 years? And now they’re going to make mega conferences and probably expand the playoffs. I’ll continue to watch for now and I love the sport, but sadly it will probably be unrecognizable soon. If they can keep the woke bullsh!t out of it that’ll go a long way. But with the amount of money pouring in along with ESPN’s(see also - Disney) influence I’m sure it’ll be a circus soon enough.+positive crew+

Auburn QB TJ Finley, the guy who signed the NIL with Amazon, just got arrested for running from the cops.
He was on a moped and tried to run because he was being pulled over for not having a helmet on. I really wish this was a joke. Auburn football ladies and gentlemen6'2"

I’ve been really surprised at how poorly Frost has done there. Not to say this is a make of break game for him….but it might be a make or break game for him. This sets the tone for the whole season.
Other than that game and hopefully watching UNC get upset there isn’t really much going on, but at least it’s back. And on a side note, it makes me sad to say that Lee Corso sounds like Biden out there. I know some people hate on him but I’ve always liked his presence on Gameday. Might be time for him to hang it up though.+positive crew+

Don’t forget national championship winning head coach at UCF!
I really don’t get his tenure at Nebraska. It’s like watching the Detroit Lions play. Every week the Lions find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They have a pathway to win, and somehow manage to pull out the L.
Big Ten should have an interesting season. Seems like none of the top 3 or 4 teams in each division avoided having cross over games that include at least 1-2 of the other divisions top teams.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.
