This is a year where I'd rather retract to a 2 team playoff than expand to 12. We don't need to see Ohio St, Alabama, or anyone below them.

lol I was sarcastically thinking that qbs throw more TDS in a single game at other schools than Iowa does over the whole season, but then I looked it up and they threw for 6 tds all season...

If they just recruited some offensive talent Iowa would be legit. Usually a solid defense there and kinnick is typically a tough place to go get a win

There is hardly any debate that Ohio State is not in, which makes it seem silly that the rankings for them as a 3 or 4 will be dependent on whether TCU or Alabama is in.

Edit: Yep, committee didn’t have the courage to put them at 3 for a Big Ten rematch. Georgia with the tougher semi matchup.

The committee, in their criteria, has "avoid rematches" in its criteria for setting matchups. Also why would OSU jump TCU who had to play an extra game while Ryan Day sat at home dying his gay beard?

Not saying I agree or disagree with TCU ahead, just trying to understand the logic here by the committee/consensus thought on it. Rematches should be irrelevant. It should be about listing the 4 best teams in order.

Probably a good idea for him, unless he was taking a HC job. I think he’s a good coach, but always a risk going somewhere new as a coordinator, installing everything from scratch, not having your players and trying to replicate your success.

I am not a TCU fan, but good that they're in at 12-1 with an over time loss. And what a loss... how the F___ did they not do a QB sneak w/ all the success that Duggan was having late vs K State. Ohh well


Georgia should be a decent favorite vs Oh State. I'll take OSU +10 or more if I can get it.

TCU vs. Mich intersting clash of styles. TCU can absolutely get crushed, but not unrealistic they can win. Especially w/ their RB out
