I have been a fan of jeopardy for eons, after Alex passed I just couldn't get into it. It just wasn't the same and I tried watching it several times. Last week I watched again and became a regular viewer once more. I credit that to the current champ Mattea, so she is a winner in more ways than one in my book and a pleasure to watch.

Just finished watching last nights episode it was a good one, she was behind quite a bit, came back and ended with double the score of the nearest contestant...

the nearest contestant bet everything in the finals and answered correctly, Matea also answered correctly bet 1 dollar and won by one dollar...

Make that 18, she has been in real trouble the last couple of nights but has a nose for finding the double Jeopardy's and getting them right. Her final Jeopardy game is red hot as well. Not looking forward to her losing and waving her tiny little hand like "It's OK."

Really ironic ending for my girl. Thought she was done last night. She has won by $1 before, so losing by $1 is almost poetic.

The most ironic thing is how many pivotal answers about Canada she got that a Canadian would know better than an American, but the answer she lost with was a question that only someone from Georgia would know and wouldn't you know it, some woodchuck from GA was her opponent.

Good run by a really endearing competitor.

Actually you can watch this on youtube with limited commercials so we watched the week on Friday night.

I was sorry to see Singh go, but I like the icy veins and constant smile from the Meteorologist, think there's a steel skeleton under there. My Wife was disappointed that Margaret (housewife with granny glasses) was eliminated, gotta admit I kind of liked her, has this slow dull way about her but mind sharper than a whip, and she knows it.

Did not see the episode where Ryan (Uber guy) was eliminated, maybe it's not on Youtube but really would have liked to him go farther.

Pretty disappointed with tonight's episode. Alex liked a good joke but for a host to speak an explative....

Alex is digging his way out of resting place now to take over after that. Me and some guys are going to help him if anyone is interested.

She's back and advancing to the Masters Semi Finals

Being a Trivia buff, Jeopardy has always been a favorite of mine. I miss Alex and didn't watch for a while because it just wasn't the same. It's still not the same but I am watching a bit more now.


We are currently off grid and didn't even realize that this was going on, We have satellite internet, a fire stick and Mr Google so I am sure I will be able to tune in somehow.

Haven't watched in years, but I might check this out.

My oldest daughter was a big fan and kinda a freak at trivia. When she was a kid, she qualified for kids Jeopardy and we went to Dallas for an audition and mock game. Alas, she was not cast for the show.

For a time when she was a late teen, she and I would go to a Pizza place every Monday night and we'd be a two-person team for a trivia contest, competing against teams (tables) of 8-10 people. We were quite competitive. I'm pretty good, but have large gaps in certain subjects. She knows pretty much everything except sports. She's an unusual person. She knows pi to 500 digits, can name every leader and capitol of every country on earth, speaks several languages...

Mattea made it into the Finals by the skin of her teeth.

I am not sure she can pull it off, I hope she can, but she is playing against James Holzhauer and that fukker is pretty damn quick on the buzzer. I predict she will place second to James. Still pretty good though.

The final game is on tonight if anyone cares.
