I started bulking in January 2022 and have gained about 10 pounds (about 0.7 lbs per week)
My waist size has only gone up half an inch after starting my bulk. Is this a good indicator that my bulk is going pretty well?
I am following a PPL
All main compounds squat deadlift have gone up significantly except bench. I’ve always had a problem with bench pressing. Its getting stronger but slower than the other two.
Im eating around 2800-2900 cals a day split in to 40C/30P/30F
Do you guys add any size to your waist when bulking? I also must add that I do see and feel some abs appearing after starting my bulk.

Yes, although I would argue that only skinny people need to "bulk" - when your realistic target weight is way above your current weight. You should be able to gain muscle at maintenance if you are not the leanest. It all depends on whether you can make progress in the gym or not.
