They play the Dodgers, Padres, Brewers, Astros, and Angels (even tho they're sinking) this month.
Lets see how they do against all those contenders.

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

As a national league guy(Giants) the Mets are killing everyone.

As a Mets fan I can't but help be cynical. Every year the Mets have a great April and May, but collapse in June and by the All Star game the season is over already looking to next year. I will say this year DOES feel different and they're winning without DeGrom and Scherzer. It's a long season and sustainability has been a problem before. I hope I'm wrong.

Yankees just swept a team that has owned them the last few years while throwing a COVID-induced SPOT starter out there lmaoooooooooooooo 10 game lead on the rest of the division. 6 game lead on the best record in baseball.
Every time the Braves win a world series, the Yankees win one the next year. Keep coping though. All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

The guys who are a combined .500 against the Braves lifetime? It's not that big of a lead bro. With 15 games left all we have to do is go 9-6 and it's basically dead even. Assuming a 5 man rotation, lets just pretend it works out evenly, deGrom and Scherzer would account for 6 of those 15 starts. Assuming we split 3-3 like we've done historically against them, all the Braves have to do is go 6-3 against the back end of your rotation.
It really is over for the Mets. I hope they enjoyed April and May. Have fun playing San Diego in the 3-game first round while the Braves enjoy the #2 seed and first round bye."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. Scherzer not even in line to face the Braves next week unless they push him back a day. Even if they did he’d be matched up with Fried on Monday.
Mets running into a Fried, Strider, Morton trio…. Meanwhile throwing out Peterson, Williams, Carrasco…. They might get swept."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. Well as a long time baseball fan I know that sometimes the bats go cold and that is why they show you the record for the last 10 games.
You know there are 81 games left?
It is all his fault with his 27.00 era.
