Good point.
I use liquid, then regular chalk. It grips the bar better, but you also don't have as much chalk coming off your hands.
Honestly, the biggest thing you can do to prevent chalk injuries (lol ok messes) is to have a chalk bowl. I just bought the Rogue one which attaches to my rig, but the expense was unnecessary - you can just use a freaking salad bowl if you are limited in funds. Chalk up over the bowl - reduces mess by 68%It's never too late!
