We have lift off, I'm 12 weeks out from the National 3 peaks challenge in the Uk.
The 3 biggest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24hrs.
12kg heavier than my walking weight last year which was 86kg.
Not too concerned as my legs have a lot more muscle this year.
Ideally I could do with being under 90kg for this one but main focus is losing fat not muscle.

Early post for me as I head into my nightshifts and my weight fluctuates dramatically if I weigh in at the same time.
Average calories last 7 days are at 2715 with protein at 212.
I'm aiming for 2500 a day its inflated as I ate 3k and 3.3k friday/Saturday due to going out walking in the hills. So I eat an extra meal or two those days which is ok for me as the hikes are 15 miles plus and would leave in a terrible deficit whilst feeling hungry leading to overeating the bad stuff no doubt

Was travelling with work and harder to keep track so probably ended up at roughly maintenance this week. I've decided to go much slower as I can feel the chance of cracking and overeating is higher if I cut very fast. This is also what worked the last time I got relatively lean, if I try cutting too fast I just end up ruining it.The first principle is that you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool.

Weekly average stayed the same which was expected after spending 4 out of 7 days at 3300 calories instead of my goal of 2500.
This was to offset all the hiking I was doing on those 4 days so its nothing to be disappointed about as my goal is to get up and down mountains as quickly as possible regardless of a number on the scales ⚖️

I could still be on for sub-100kg, even though I've had a ****ty few months with covid, depression, holiday and work time on the road.
I'm always better over summer months as I cycle more, so I am feeling good about losing a kg a week for the foreseeable. I really want to see sub-90kg again.A.L.L. Leukemia 2009 - 2012

Weekly average down .6kg this week. Very surprised at that considering my average calories were 3167 per day which is 600 more than I'm aiming for.
Although I did climb 2 mountains this week which is why the average is so high to fuel those climbs.
Hopefully finish this 12 week cut below 93kg...
9 weeks left till my 3 mountains in 24hr uk challenge.
Hoping I'm 90kg or under by then but that will not come at the cost of losing muscle that I built

A 1 pound gain. I think I'll just try to maintain my weight at around 195 pounds from now on and slowly recomp. Will keep posting here just to hold myself accountable.
Almost wishing for a new pandemic so that I get better motivated to really cut down lolThe first principle is that you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool.

Going on those weekly averages I've become a bit stagnant in the numbers and will have to switch up my game plan as I'm getting physically fitter but those numbers aren't dropping the way I want them too.
I'll have to drop calories more on my days were I am not training in the hills. As my 2 days in the hills I'm eating that much its having a knock on effect for the weekly average and in effect Im hitting maintenance. Which I suppose is a good thing at least I know what maintenance is now.
Roll on next week 😌🙌
