re: cole/hangman- they are doing a piss poor job of making anyone give a fuk about this match. honestly orange cassidy/hangman face vs face would have carried more weight.

i like this matchup. danielson knows what he's doing so he'll make the kid look good while still looking dominant. i don't buy garcia. the fake shooter bullchit gimmick is played out imo but maybe i'll like him more after a match with the best north american wrestler in the world.

Oh no way it's a legit turn. He'll use the sympathies garnered from it against punk at the PPV for ultimate heel heat. Just an amazing promo that could 100% turn him face if they really wanted to.

i'm not putting it past mjf the guy or the character to use the jew card for sympathy to get into punk's head a little before the match. i have a strong feeling that this will not be a face turn at all, but just a little swerve to get a lot more heat on him once it comes out that this was all "nonsense". i also didn't agree with the promo at all until i realized what was going on.

Even the main event, which I have zero interest in and who wins is a foregone conclusion, despite that - it will be a good match. It just ought to be the ME for an episode of Rampage, not a major PPV.

The ratings are in for AEW Dynamite. The show drew 1.010 million viewers, up from the 869,000 viewers the show previously drew last week. In the 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.40 rating, which is up from the 0.31 last week.

That was not a face turn, just an explanation, why MJF is such a douche. He is overcompensating and playing a chad bully, because he was bullied in the past. The MJF-character has always supposed to be a fassade hiding a highly insecure person. Even before AEW:






Damn Murphy got even more jacked, than he was in WWE. With AEW's DYEL-roster, he'll look like total monster despite lacking height. Cornette is going to have a lot of fun with hiom keeping the name "Buddy" though.
