Andrew entered his first meet last month.
Apparently he met the qualifications requirement to enter Youth Nationals this summer in Las Vegas. He actually exceeded the requirement by 12-kilos.
I made this vid to highlight his two-year training up to his first competition.

My Son had 1 summer where he was chasing my DL max, had a great lean build, he was around 17 and well respected in the HS gym. He went pretty casual after that, lifting here and there. His academics are outstanding but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed he didn't take the lifting farther.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

That is awesome!!!
My son benches and does pull-ups: his bench is much better than mine; his pull-ups much worse He has no desire to work legs, but he's got a naturally big set of wheels and doesn't need to for aesthetic purposes. But he prefers to lift by himself except for when we belonged to a gym pre-covid.Pull-Up PR: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=177233951
