Polls always hide the truth because of the way the pollsters seek out specific demographics. I don't think it'll be any worse, maybe less even, than usual. No polarizing Trump on the ticket that people need to hide they support him and a lot of people are openly fed up with Brandon and his failures, so they wouldn't feel the need to hide they support the GOP like they often do.

In 2016, the only pollsters to consistently predict a Trump victory were Rasmussen and LA Times (this is my recollection). Rasmussen is still considered skewed right and LA Times stopped doing a Presidential tracking poll.

Both of those pollsters consistently sampled an even number of Dems, Reps, and Inds. To the point were it was usually 33/33/34. Reading the details of almost any other major pollster, they consistently over-sample Dems by 5-9 points and most of them don't take party affiliation into account when adjusting final numbers. This has been apparent to anyone who cares to look at more than just the topline reported number.

I have little doubt that is the case. As we've seen the last few elections polls are used as a weapon against conservatives, to try and suppress the vote. I pretty much stopped paying much attention to polling. There is one polling group that tries to be accurate though. When I see their polling numbers I pay more attention.
