Warm up 85lb pack on stairs for 10 mins. Reduced from normal 110lb pack.
Lat pulls 1 set 10reps, 100lbs
2 sets squats 250lbs 18 reps each
2 sets incline 120lbs (240lb total) dumbbells - failed to set weight on both sets
1 set incline 110lbs (220lbs) 10 reps. Took video of it. Noticed I was over extending elbows again at top of rep. Need to stop that. Double jointed elbows and wrists, need to make sure I am keep a slight bend to my elbow. Wrist wraps take care of wrist.
1 set high incline 105lb dumbbells (210lb), 11 reps. Very good set. Felt warmed up at that point even though not 100%
1 set incline 115lb dumbbells (230lb), 5 reps. Low and slow reps but felt energy running out after 4th rep.
1 set high incline 80lbs dumbbells (160lb), 22 reps. Solid set
1 set incline 80lbs (160lbs) 14 reps. Very tired on this set
Recap: wasn't feeling good, failed my 1st 2 heavy sets, which hasn't happened in a long time and usually get 10 reps out of the 1st set and 6-8 on the 2nd. However, adjusting down worked well. I haven't done over 100lb dumbbells on high incline for almost a year, and it felt really solid. I did not adjust down on squats, that's my normal at home leg routine. I think I'll maintain this routine for a while. If I can do it while sick, I should be able to kill it when well. We will see. I'll go again on Tuesday, try some cardio tomorrow and Monday. Played baseball with my sons today for 4 hours at the park, good calorie burn.

Nearly broke my left leg today, climbing trees with my kids. Feel at about 14 feet, not to the ground. Left boot got stuck between 2 branches and torked the hell out of my knee as I was twisted around. Was a ble to pull myself back up and get down. Inner side of the knee is tender, but I can put weight on it. See how it feels in the morning.
Knee was killing me today. I coulb barely sleep. Just a muscle pull on the inner knee though. Was planning to rest until Friday, but exwife started drinking at my 2 year olds birthday. Pissed me off, and I had to leave. Came home and smashed the weights.

Been sick since Monday. Kids gave me the flu. Did an hour on the elliptical Tuesday and took yesterday off. Blood pressure is 130/65 this morning, so good indication of being sick.
Though not feeling great, wasn't willing to waste another day. Didn't do all my sets, but did get a new record on 120lb dumbbells, and increased the weighted pack back to 100.
Okay the flu sucks. Still it's nice to be in enough shape that I can workout when sick. Did an hour of cardio. Body weight 228lb. BP still slightly elevated.
Felt like sh** last 2 days. Starting to piss me off. A little right shoulder soreness too. Woke up last night coughing up a huge amount of liquid, like I had breadth in water. Cough is gone now starting to feel better. Going up to the 110s on high incline probably caused the soreness. While I get 10+ reps with it, I have 3 screws in that shoulder. Doesn't seem to be an actual tear of any kind, just irritation from the anomalies in that shoulder and scar tissue. Besides, doing 105s doesn't cause any pain, so how injured could it actually be, while I still have full range of motion and strength. I'll give it one more day off if necessary, but the plan is weights tomorrow, and I am pissed about no cardio for 2 days. Good note though, blood pressure was 112/54 62bpm, indication the inflammation from being sick is going away. Asthma, which I have, is most likely due to an overreacting immune system, so the inflammation ties together. Was diagnosed with the real flu, so were my kids. Feel bad for my son, he has hydrocephelis and got an ear infection from the flu. Tired of being sick an tired, working out tomorrow. F the pain. Nothing is actually injured just the body overreacting. Energy is comimg back, was worthless at work today, total bs. Can't stand it.
BTW, I hate complaining when those proud and brave Ukrainians defend their homeland. They should be proud.
