I hurt my shoulder last year - a not very serious rotator cuff injury, but it kept me out of the gym for a depressing time (suspected... self diagnosed), so I'm not doing anything big numbers.
However, even though I am going for moderate weight with everything, sets of 5, all should be so quick and so easy. Yesterday it felt a bit harder than it should, no big deal, just not quite right
This morning's 5k, the jogging felt harder than it should, the hills got a bit steeper, the flat was slightly uphill and the downhills were level.
Using the advanced diagnostic technique pioneered by own Dr LWW in these threads - his Covid squat test. Good squats you're healthy, can't squat for sh!t then you have covid, I suspected something wasn't right.
I'm embarrassed to say that I was suckered by quack medicine and conspiracy and in a moment of weakness I tried this "experimental" Lateral flow test. It agreed with Dr LWW
LWW, I hope you have international patent rights

Thanks for the well wishes, For me it's an average cold that settled on the chest a little (slight tickle, but not a real cough), felt bad about missing the gym yesterday, felt bad to miss this morning's jog - I was very tempted to go an a short gentle one anyway this morning but I am required to isolate. Probably not a good idea anyway in case it stirred up problems. I'm absolutely fine, even considered going out jogging, my n=1 experience... it's Nothing.
But my wife who tested positive on Tuesday same day as my positive LF. She felt mildly unwell and her LF was negative but her work required a to take a PCR... which came back positive. Progressively got worse moving to chest. She's now admitted to hospital. Not on supplemental oxygen at moment but definitely she is not well (short of breath, HR fast and weak, BP all over the place)
It goes to show how COVID is nothing for one person, but serious for another and all the n=1 "studies" don't mean sh!t

Thanks guys, much appreciated. The wife had picked up some kind of bacterial chest infection as a result of being very run down/ill with covid, so they had her on IV antibiotics, IV st e r oi ds (no not those ones! but a banned word on BB.com) and nebulizer and sent her home after only 1 day/night and she's better enough to cope at home, no actual covid/retroviral treatment, just treated for other stuff.
My 10 days isolation will end soon, probably will drop my Thursday morning job but looking forwards to Gym Friday morning!
