And therein lies the problem of "diet" treats. I personally go cold turkey on processed or highly flavoured foods of any kind when in a deficit - I feel much better and find it easier to comply with the diet.

I have done it once or twice, but admittedly it was pretty disappointing. As SP already said, better go all or nothing with that sort of thing, IMO.

I rarely buy potato chips but when I do, I eat the whole bag/canister in one sitting and don't feel the least bit guilty about it.

More often I eat stuff like that at a group gathering of some sort, so general social etiquette serves as self-control and moderation.

Thats what I was getting at, just eating one. Which is fine. But somebody said that they would not be able to stop at eating 1-2 whole donuts, which is a much bigger problem.

While most carbohydrates, such as lactose or sugar, contain 4 calories per gram for the purposes of calculating calorie values, NDCs like those included in the definition of dietary fiber contain 2 calories per gram.

Hmm, why does Portland have such good stuff. Some of the best coffee up there as well as voodoo donuts.

Voodoo is junk, its a tourist trap don't waste your time lol. They've also expanded to Colorado, Texas and Washington. We have so many other local "higher end" donut shops that are far superior like Blue Star.

I remember in grad school some guy in the gym for Portland that casually knew me if I could take a final exam for him. He said he flunked the class 3 times and needed the class to graduate. I declined. I was a graduate assistant at the time, and would proctor tests. I proctored the final for the test he was taking. That jigaboo turned like a white sheet when he saw me.

I used to call my dog jigaboo.
