Hello all, I have an XR30, and the cable below the bench has broken away from the leg part of the bench I wanted to start using the leg, and other parts cabling system but haven't used it in a while and wondered if there is something I should do to the cable system before using such as oil, or tighten things? Also, the cable that is broken I measured it and it was 55 inches long and was thinking of buying this as a replacement off of amazon, looks like I can't post the link to the cable
Any suggestions or recommendations?
Thanks also I will attach some pics

Clean everything well - cables, pulleys, guides rods, etc. Lube the guide rods with silicone spray containing PTFE.
As for a replacement cable, all of the gym equipment suppliers (Sportsmith, National Gym Supply, Full Circle Padding, etc) sell cables cut to length. If you want to go cheap, you can pick up cable, ferrules and a swaging tool from Home Depot/Lowe's. I wouldn't normally even suggest that with a commercial piece, but for the Gold's piece you may want to consider it.
