To help stave off neurocognitive decline in the elderly you can look up the MIND diet. Very few actual trials but theoretically promising.

I have no idea, I don't recall reading anything that looks at that. If anything I'd go with the MIND diet as I don't see a strong reason why it would help more with the elderly but not with younger groups of people, but I doubt it will make an overly significant difference compared to a generally healthy diet.
I'd also be curious for any studies comparing the impact of diet vs good quality sleep of sufficient quantity, I think a lot of people would be better off focusing on the latter aspect. My 100% free website: healthierwithscience.com

The most clear my cognition has been as a result of diet was when I was doing strict AIP diet, which makes sense so the whole goal of it is to reduce inflammation.

I sometimes wonder how Millennials' experience with geriatric disease will differ from Baby Boomers and Gen-Xers, who in many cases literally subsisted on Cold War-era incredibly processed food en masse for decades.
I take it as fairly normal that old people get Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, etc., but maybe the years of daily Oscar Meyer bologna has something to do with it.Bench: 345

That will vary some by person but I don't have any reason to disagree with the National Sleep Foundation recommendations: https://www.sleepfoundation.org/how-...we-really-need
Yeah, I put 2 and 2 together but at first I was like WTF is going on? lolMy 100% free website: healthierwithscience.com

I was kinda trolling Heisman's serious responses to morph OP's troll thread into useful consolidated info, in hopes it'll make it onto his website.
