Hello, i need help. I train for like 10 months now. My supps are just protein and multivitamin, i eat healthy, whole foods, but i dont eat much fish. I was thinking about omega 3 supplement. Im able to use 2200mg daily of combined EPA+DHA from quality omega3 capsules, but its another money every month, so i want to be sure its worth it and its not just waste of money. I red benefits on internet, but some articles says it really work and you should use them for many of health benefits, some say its unnecessary for healthy individuals, most of benefits are not true and even say that omega3 supplement are toxic etc.
I mean are there any really confirmed benefits that are not just random facts from internet ? Also my question is, do you think that its worth it to take for active person that dont eat fish, or again, its just unnecessary ? Thanks

Omega 3 is certainly up there with the more important supplements, especially if you don’t regularly eat oily fish (salmon, mackerel etc) or get them from other sources (I.e. flax seed).
