Up to now the gym has been quiet, really quiet only the regulars. I like that, no waiting for anything, just walk up to a squat rack or whatever.
This morning... it was solid with people, is this just a blip... or did January just hit?
What worries me is that these are familiar faces, the semi dedicated regulars (not quite dedicated enough for COVID training?) I used to see last year, so maybe I can't just sit it out 6 weeks and have a quiet gym again. It was nice while it lasted I suppose

I can't believe it's 2022. Time goes by so fast that I have no time at all. I have to try very quickly to live a good life. Travel. And live a good life.

I went from EOS, a $16 a month gym that was way overcrowded.... to a local independent gym that costs me $31 a month. Well worth the price increase to not have to deal with overcrowded gym and have to wait forever to get on equipment. Even at 4 pm when I go.

I've seen no changes in the gym so far - pretty busy so I do have to wait on occasion for a rack or w/e but not too long... but it's army so no real surprises there.

My gym was pretty sparse on Saturday. We just had a vaccine mandate go into effect on 1/3, so that might have something to do with it. I boycotted them as long as I could stand it, but ended up showing my papers so I could get back in there Saturday morning. Feeling a bit rough today, crazy how sore I am and didn't do typical volume or weights so I wouldn't be wrecked.
