I need a journal to keep up with this.......
Sunday 1/9/22

I will continue adding weight and reps, see how far I can go.

Hell yeah Grouchy !
Wed. 1-12-22
Squat -
56 x 5
147 x 5
188 x 33
Breathing: the most important thing, most people start repping before breathing and I will start doing 3reps real quick at a time. No more of that crap, going fwd will be 1-2 breaths each rep. Around rep 15 I did 3 breaths on that rep but all rest I maintained 1 to 2 breaths. This makes a huge factor in not getting winded, once you get winded the mind breaks, then the body. I felt real good for 40 on this today. This has been my heaviest for over 30 since I started this routine.

Sat 1-15-22
Dead Lift-
Up to 395 x 5 PR.
I have been adding 10# a week on my dead’s for 4-8 reps for the last 5 weeks starting at 345.
Last week I only did 4 reps.
Back is feeling good, it’s eithier my new foot position or these high rep squats making for good recovery or both.
Finished with some clean and presses with 115 for 2 sets of 6.

The 25 wasn't bad, I mean I wasn't happy with it, but it was just a moderate day
I've seen that vid, its been awhile, almost forgot about it, good one!
Dr. Ken Leistner is the guy who introduced me to high rep squatting literally, I was doing it before I met him, however he put me to the test of doing much higher reps than 20. He once did 100 with over his BW.

Super Squats in the way it is written taking 10 rep max and doing 20 is not only tough but probably not for folks with regular jobs. I have a hard enough time staying awake in front of a computer all day, plus the anxiety of such a program.......
I enjoy working on the conditioning long term and getting used to 30 reps and doing much higher reps with lighter weight (light is relative).
Doc Ken said Grimek could squat 425 for about 35 into his 60s. Grimek had the rib cage and chest expansion to show.....

Interesting approach.
I am doing machine squats pyramid style.
My “rules”
Set one was originally a warmup for 20 reps and I’d pyramid to failure each set with 30 pound jumps.
I change the starting weight by 10 pounds every time I can get 20 on set 1.
For example
175x20* start at 185 next time
205 x failure
235
265
295
325
355
Next time it’s…
185x try to get 20
215
245
275
305
335
365
Now, I’m keeping a PR chart..if I think I can break a rep PR I don’t hesitate to adjust the weight in such a way to do that.
About the breathing…I have been trying five rep clusters. Maybe I’ll drop to 3 as it gets tougher.
Thanks for sharing your experiences."A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

HEY Coach, welcome good stuff!
Ok so today I felt like crap, mentally crap for only doing 25 reps and I cramped up from the heavy curl.
So this how I fixed this-
Squat-
122 x 50reps
Feel awesome now, this is what it’s about. I’ve only done a 50 repper twice in my days with about 30 extra # which was over a decade ago.
