In the past people always made New Years resolutions , usually something to do with eating healthier, losing weight, going to the gym etc (that they would usually fail by now). But it seems like since Covid people don’t even bother. Its like people are just trying to make it through/survive. Anyone here make a resolution?

They usually make one to receive unearned praise just at the mention of it, then proceed to do nothing about it from the get-go. Repeat annually.
I don't wait for the calendar to change to get things done :shrug:Lifting. Hockey. Headbanging.

This. Ig ya can't be disappointed if you set the bar low?
& I'm honestly pretty sure NY resolutions are a thing of the past now. Srs. I haven't heard a single person say they were doing anything different. Covid killed that chit for some reason. It's fine by me tho. I always hated how packed the gym got this time of year.

Consistently working out or aiming to make progress in the gym aren't New Years resolutions of mine, because it's simply a given that this is a permanent part of my life and I already have specific goals there that I'm pursuing separately.
I paid off my education in 2021 so have more free income and will do something with that money. The two areas where I think I've regressed have been in intentionally investing time with people (friends, family, being socially involved) and I've gotten somewhat lazy about improving myself intellectually and keeping my mind sharp. 2021 was a solid success fitness/gym wise, though.Bench: 345
