12 sets of 100 jump ropes vs 6 sets of 200 jump ropes, which is better?

12 sets of 100 jump ropes vs 6 sets of 200 jump ropes, which is better? I used to do 10 sets of 8 weighted sit ups and 12 sets of 100 jump ropes. Now I do 10 sets of 9 weighted sit ups (i do sit ups faster with this weight 22lbs now, so it takes the same time) and 6 sets of 200 jump ropes. Extra sit ups is obviously better, but i am not sure about jump ropes (same total). When i do 200 in a row, my lungs, heart, legs are more worked than doing 100 then taking a break then doing 100, so i am hoping it is better for cardiovascular health. But does this burn more calories? I am wondering if i should settle with current jump ropes or eventually move into 3 sets of 400 jump ropes. By the way, when i do jump ropes, often, left bottom stomach hurts slightly like an organ is dropping inside.

Well I suppose I will do 4000 jump ropes eventually per day. But the question is whether one of them burns more Calories when the total is the same. Neither is better and they burn the same Calories?

If they burn the same calories, they are the same for weight loss. Where's the confusion?

    Neither will maintain muscle.
this. you won't maintain muscle with jump rope and sit ups, you need to do actual resistance training like push ups, pull ups, squats etc. right now the only muscle that gets an actual workout are your abs

Who counts reps for jumproping? If anything, do it for a specific duration or until you get tired or mess it up.

Yeah i do resistance workouts other than sit ups. I am just trying to lose weight and build cardio and abs while maintaining other muscles with resistance training like dips and dumbbells. Thanks.
