I was an extra in the 2011 Muppet movie and was feature sorta prominently for a second or two.

I have an undefeated record against a 3x HS state champ who went on to win an NCAA D1 wrestling title

The match happened in HS during a dual meet

He was soundly winning when he picked me up in a double leg takedown and brought me back down to the mat

The ref called a slam which is a 1 point penalty unless the wrestler who got slammed can't continue

I embellished it that I couldn't go on, laid out on the mat, got the trainer out there...the works

Because I couldn't go on it was win by DQ for of an illegal slam

The dual meet was at his school and the crowd was booing and jeering loud because it was obvious I was faking but nothing they could do about it

It was his only loss in the past 3 years and he went on to win state later that year by pinning everyone at the tournament

So I technically have an undefeated 1-0 record against one of the best wrestlers in the nation

Kids end up in special needs for all sorts of reasons, but my problem was largely that of being a VERY late bloomer. Over two decades later it’s clear there was nothing fundamentally wrong with me.
