ive been incognito due to illness and general family stuff for a bit over a week. i needed the break - ate at a soft maintenance level since the holiday - and its been fine. proud i didnt lose myself in it - cuz i am a sucka for those seasonal goodies! most days i actually weighed and tracked - even the goodies - so i stayed mostly compliant with my goals.
1200cals (100p, 65c, 60f) - i am dropping down a bit more for at least the next 7 weeks - but I may have to stop my cut early - or at least get much closer to maintenance for the remainder. my long cut is finally starting to wear my a56 out

Can't believe its the first week weigh in already. I've been ill for most of it and not working out, so not an ideal start, but I am at least losing weight.
I think that the loss has primarily come from stoping creatine whilst I was ill. I don't expect to keep losing weight like that, as it's over 2% of my bodyweight. I don't want to lose more than 0.7kg a week really.A.L.L. Leukemia 2009 - 2012

Weights up by about 2.5kg from the last thread, I am eating more though.
Not started tracking calories yet but looking to shoot for about 3k a day see where that gets me in the next few weeks.
Strength is slowly rising.
Hit a 140kg/308lb deadlift last week for the first time.
May not be impressive to some but when I was in a deficit I could hardly get 100kg off the floor.
I do a hell of a lot of endurance walking/hiking so my legs hate lots of weight but hopefuly that gives them more reason to grow as I dial down the hiking for 3 months.
My challenge this year is to summit the Uks 3 biggest peaks in 24hrs. Thats at the end of july so I'll start hiking again at the back end of april when I'll cut again.
Good luck to you all

Another great drop this week. Didn't change my calories but 2 weeks ago I started running for the first time since I got out of the military 20 years ago. I'm running a 5K three times a week now and the scale is continuing to drop rather quickly as a result. At this rate I'll hit my goal in another 2-3 weeks, so we'll see how it goes. All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

I'll join late if that's alright. I'm close to where I want to be physique wise, but might as well go ahead and put in the effort to get all the way there.
6'2" and 238.1 this morning. 38" waist. I'll keep track of waist and bodyweight on a weekly basis.
Goal weight: let's see what 215 looks and feels like.

I guess the target weight at 1 per week is around 195 but I'm hoping to exceed that barring any injuries from getting back into training and staying committed to always being hungry
Praying to thr gains gods I won't have too much loose skin around my stomach if/when the weight comes off.Recent best lifts

0.5kg loss this week and thus managed to hit the target. I am trying to lose weight without counting calories this time. I think have gotten a lot better estimating calories without strict tracking/weighing everything, but if it seems that weight loss starts to stall, I'll resume to calorie counting. We shall see how it goes.

Dropping much faster than I initially planned so far, even according to regression on daily weight measurements in Excel. But I expect this to slow down substantially soon as I am eating about 2400-2450 calories on average a day and my step count is low these days (about 7000/day). Maybe cardio lowers my TDEE
Strength is going up and hunger is still very manageable, but I doubt that will last long. The first principle is that you must not fool yourselfโand you are the easiest person to fool.

Nice job brother! Are you enjoying the runs? I have a really love hate relationship with them.... Mostly hate. I basically try to pr almost every 5k until I'm done for the season and attempting to pr every run is just a dumb way to train probably.
.. Given that going for a pr every lifting session is dumb af too.
He was too excited at the scale weight today and just had to input it as the Friday weight. Either that or he's got some mental fog from the fat deficit... Which is it squid?Recent best lifts
