What gets me is people get them for attention. Then they get attention for them and are pissed because people are judging them because of their tats.

Me saying it no I dont care what others do or dont do, I work around plenty of ink'ed guys and theyre fine they work hard and show up, what they do outside of work idc if they are doing something directly affects my life or work then yes I will care but until then I stay in my lane, yes I can be critical of others work because I sometimes have to fix someone else's mistakes that I had no involvement in but I also don't boil over like some do and react irrationally to an error. You 100% have been critical of things that have zero affect on you, just like everyone else. I think everyone is just unaware of the saying itself or assume it means something completely different.

I think the tattoo argument is more about a judgement of character or decision making, not whether people with tats are completely useless.

Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of tattoos either. A lot of people get some weird pharking tattoos, and then either regret it, or need more sessions of work done for shading/filling/coloring, and then years go by and they then need touch ups to make sure it keeps looking decent lol like it's a car or something.
