Anyone do these? Opinions? I saw MyEgoProblem mention these recently so I tried them. Can only do partials at this point (they are brutal at the top ROM) but oddly these feel like a more «natural» movement than regular pullups/chins.

Gironda chins
The first principle is that you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool.

I do them often. You get the benefit of a row at the top, and the lat stretch throughout the rest of it. Gironda also had another exercise using a cable (45-degree standing high pulley row) that more or less mimmicked the same double movement. If you're having trouble getting full reps with these, that'd be a decent stand-in for a while.
Lifting. Hockey. Headbanging.

They're great!
I dont think it matters too much about hand orientation (pronate, neutral, suppinate) as long as the important parts are performed during the exercise
Keep elbows in for max shoulder extension (lat pump)
If your elbows flare out, try widening your grip a bit
Lean back at the top and jam your elbows down and wrap them around behind your rib cage
I do them under control but that dude is going way too slow lol, that tempo is like 4.1.4, I do them more like 2.1.2► Intermediate Bodybuilding Classic Physique ► Renaissance Periodization Programming
