- i dated this asian girl over the summer. We met up maybe 5 times never smashed , or anything. ( hiking , eating , etc )
- she seemed to be looking for something serious , not the hook up type. ( studious phd)

We then sorta lost contact in august for awhile until at about halloween she randomly messaged me asking me if i was seeeing somebody etc ..i asked back she said she met a couple more people but getting sick of dating apps , no connection with anyone

So last night she popped into my head so i randomly messaged and made some small talk .

Then out of curiosity i downloaded the app again and saw she is STILL using it..

After saying she didnt like the apps , didnt find what she is looking for etc , and after passively turning me down in the summer but then continued to iniate contact a few times after.

I almost was going to persue her, until i saw her back on the app , then lost motivation because i know other dudes are still hitting her up etc

This would probably the reason she messaged me after some time went by, and i gave up and went nc.
Because she was new to online dating ( in this country anyway ) and prob didnt realize at our last meeting , where she sorta rejected me , that its harder than it seems to string together 5 dates with someone online .

In fact , i wouldnt be surprised if all the others she met never made it past first date.

And i simped a bit , and treated her very nicely as she seemed like my type ( at the time )

Its like we dated 5 times , she got feeling herself told me she wasnt gonna be official with me etc..probably because of the attention she got , then came to realize it didnt amount to anything ..guys just looking for hook up etc then messaged me awhile later after went nc , and gave up .

So glad I never had to go through these apps and this age in that way...seems heavily skewed in one way. If want to date etc I will just do my best to speak to ppl in real life and try find groups of common interest where hopefully a few women take part as well. Regardless, I would require proof of booty at some point (seem rough in my age group though).

Online dating for over 35 is really horrible, so she most likely doesn't like the dating apps, but hasn't found what she's looking for.

So many men on the dating apps are angry about their divorces. In some cases the anger is warranted, but you don't want to spend the entire first date listening to a guy rant about his ex-wife. That's not fun at all! I'd rather be home under blankets posting on here
