Are the collagen protein powders at least an okish alternative to try if the whey powders aren't handled well by your digestive system? With my crazy schedule need a bit of a quicker to take in, non time consuming cooking/chewing process food boost in protein around work outs. I see other things like pea and rice protein powders but they all have much lower protein g counts being plant based. But I don't really see anything other than people using the Collagen ones for trying to improve other things like skin so I'm wondering if there's something about it that it doesn't work well for for this or if it's ok but just overlooked with most people not having issues the other powers out there.

Not all protein is the same. There is the amino acid score and bioavailability to consider.
Whey for example, scores very highly on both. Collagen has a low amino acid score by comparison
